Style Master, Fleetmaster, Fleetline

Like most other U.S. automobiles, the 1946 Chevrolets were basically a cosmetic upgrade over the 1942 Chevrolet models. The top of the line was the Fleetmaster. Chevrolet considered the fastback Fleetline models to be part of this designation. The base level 1942 Chevrolet was the Stylemaster series. Body styles were Business Coupe, notchback Sport Coupe, Town Sedan, Convertible, and under the Fleetline name, the Aerosedan and the Sportmaster sedan.
